Family Friendly Hotels – 5 Essential Elements That Ensure Happy Holidays

Nothing beats a great holiday with the family. Whether it’s a short break among the UK’s most scenic countryside or the night before flying away on an eagerly-awaited foreign trip, a hotel that offers these key benefits is a big hit with parents and kids alike. Here’s a five-point guide to a great hotel experience for modern families.

1. Wonderful grounds for safe exploration

Kids of all ages love interesting places: acres of grounds to explore; maybe features such as a labyrinth or a stone circle or two; even the possibility of spotting wildlife. The best family friendly hotels have plenty of safe, spacious grounds where children can let their imaginations run wild as they let off steam before or after a long journey.

2. Interconnected rooms – comforting for children with privacy for adults

The latest family friendly hotels ensure a wide choice of interconnected rooms. Parents and kids can have their own space. Adults and elder children get the privacy they want – while younger children feel safe with adults close at hand.

3. Refreshments available 24/7

Holidays are busy times, especially if your hotel has lots of exciting grounds to explore. Children often need a snack, while adults will appreciate the opportunity to unwind with a drink and a bite to eat. When you’re planning your family friendly hotel accommodation, make sure the hotel has onsite facilities for delicious refreshments around the clock. Day or night, you’ll appreciate the opportunity to enjoy a favourite treat whenever you feel hungry.

4. Child friendly staff make all the family welcome

Remember when you were little and the staff at a hotel or restaurant made a special fuss of you? Enlightened family hotels make special efforts to accommodate the needs of children: around the hotel grounds, at mealtimes or when your kids have special needs, child friendly staff make the difference between simple accommodation and a holiday experience that children will remember for a lifetime.

5. Internet connection for older children to use

Most modern youngsters will be keen to keep in touch with their friends even while they’re on holiday. Modern family friendly hotels with wireless broadband access mean they can access their favourite social networking or entertainment websites. And of course, reliable Internet access is a boon when you need to make last minute travel arrangements, check email or plan a day out.

Choosing a suitable hotel is easy if you follow a few simple guidelines. As usual, it’s the little details that make the best possible holiday experience for all the family.

The Winford Manor Hotel is a family friendly hotel in an idyllic rural location near Bristol, England. As well as being close to Bristol airport and South West England’s many tourist attractions, the Winford Manor offers seven acres of safe parkland to explore, family rooms with wireless broadband internet and a warm welcome from a genuinely family friendly team.

Real Madrid Sounds Warning In European Champions League

Jose Mourinho has rediscovered the self-belief and confidence that has been missing in Real Madrid for sometime now as the Galacticos played very determined game last Tuesday night to dispose-off Italian giants, AC Milan at their favorite Santiago Bernabeu. It was a complete performance for the Spanish side as they displayed multiple attacking options. The only thing that did not reveal the true picture of proceedings was the respectable score line of 2-0 in favor of Real Madrid which could have been more.

One thing was certain in Tuesdays’ game that Mourinho has managed the star-studded Madrid side with a lot of professionalism such that Cristiano Ronaldo whose seem to have lost a chunk of his football in him since joining the Spanish giants has suddenly rediscovered his form with fascinating runs and sensible display of football artistry that he was known for during his days at Manchester United.

The Portuguese born manager has intelligently reduced the number of Madrid’s quality attack he met comprising, Kaka, Higuain, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo. Playing all four strikers provided Ronaldo with little room to operate as they needed to play collectively as stars. But on Tuesday night, Ronaldo had the singular honor of driving the whole attacking line of Ozil, Higuain and himself which provided numerous options for the former world best who really likes to express himself. He had enough space to cover and his switch in play was simply brilliant.

For AC Milan, the character of the team has gone down considerably as the current side has lost the playing brand of Paulo Maldini, Henan Crespo and Shevchenko group of talents who established a certain mark of brilliance during their time with the Rossoneri. The present team lacks the will and purpose to get good results, not even a trickle of experience from Ronaldinho, Zlatan Ibrahimovich, Clarence Seedorf, Gatuso and Izaghi could write something positive for the Italian side. Lack of coordination, rhythm and drive characterized their play.

It was such a well-worked, sweet revenge for Real Madrid who painfully lost 2-3 at the Bernabeu to AC Milan last season at the same group stage. Times has completely changed as the technical directions for the two played a huge role in the outcome of the game. Mourinho came to Real Madrid with a lot of experience as the ruling European champions coach, winning the trophy for Inter Milan last season whereas Massimiliano Allegri is yet to create a brand in this coaching business.

Do You Know What to Do If You Are in a Road Traffic Accident?

On Memorial Day Weekend, every year there are thousands of Road Traffic Accidents. For your sake, I hope that you are not one of those people. If it happens that you are, do you know the proper way to save further damage and injury? If you know what to do, you can speed up the time on the claims and repairs also.

The Consumer Protection Association of America has designated the week before Memorial Day Weekend “National Driver Education Week.” To go along with this National week, they have developed a checklist of things that you need to know about dealing with an accident.

The most important accessory to carry in your car is a DocuDent Kit. You will find everything you need to keep safe and document the accident. There is reflector triangles, road cones, flashlight, a camera, and a list of the things you need to document at the accident scene.

The first thing that should be done is move the cars to the side of the road if you are able. If the cars cannot be moved, the occupants should stay inside with seat belts on. You should make sure you have lit the flares and put out the cones so others can see you.

Once the initial shock is over and everyone is in a safe location, the drivers should exchange information. This would include names, addresses, phone numbers, insurance information, and document the drivers names and the license plates from the cars.

You then need to take pictures of the damage to the cars and some good pictures of the accident scene, this can clear up any questions the adjuster has. You might check for witnesses and see if they will write a statement for you as to what they saw.

When you are done at the scene, you should file an accident report at the DMV. The formal accident report, in many cases, helps the insurance company move the claims process along.

You should always be ready for anything on the road. If you have an accident, know what to do to avoid any further injury or damage to property. Best of all it is always good to drive safe and avoid the accident.

You should always practice defensive driving techniques and pay attention at all times. You never want to drink and drive or drive while on medication that affects you in any way as to interfere with your driving.

Barcelona Chairs – An Example of Elegance & Style

With the variety of modern design furniture available, choosing a chair can be demanding at times. The chair chosen should make you feel comfortable as well as enhance the look of your home. The Barcelona chair is one piece of modern furniture, which is regarded as sophisticated and stylish furniture produced in the 20th century. The chair was originally designed for the King and Queen of Barcelona. It not only made them happy, but gave the world a new and trendy chair for their home.

History of Barcelona chair

Mies Van Der Rohe designed the first chair in 1929, which was inaugurated by the Royal Highness in International Exposition in Barcelona, Spain, and is considered to be the peak of a harmonized approach to material and design. It is said that the chair was a result of partnership between Rohe and architect Lilly Reich. In fact, some historians say that Reich was more influential in making the chair’s design. It is said that his inspiration was an Egyptian folding chair and a folding stool, the ones on which the pharaohs and Romans use to sit.

Design of the Chair

The initial design of the chair included frames which were bolted together. It was then redesigned in 1950 using steel and flawless pieces of metal on frames, which gave it a smoother look. The framework is made by embedding two pieces of steel bars in the front and back of the chair. Steel gives the chair high strength and supports the seat. Cushions are covered with rubber, foam and buttoned leather placed on the seat and backed by saddle-leather straps.

The Barcelona chair has a Green guard certificate which means that it is eco-friendly and hence, will not release harmful products into the air. The material from which it is made is not cheap and is properly assured by testers before going under production that it is up to the required benchmark. The leather is smooth and is soft to sit on. On the other hand, the steel frame means that the complete frame can be made with one piece of metal.

Original or Reproduced version?

In 1953, Rohe gave the production license to Knoll Company, which still holds the rights and trademark. Although it is the only authorized manufacturer to produce Barcelona chairs, a lot of companies offer reproduction. Some are excellent while others are fair enough. However, an original Barcelona chair is still the most desirable furniture of the current century. The quality of material and workmanship cannot be compared. But, if you cannot go for the original one, a reproduced chair with similar design and material used and which can fit into your budget, will also work.

The Barcelona chair, because of its rise to fame and history, has enjoyed popularity and increase in sales and production worldwide. It was almost 80 years back when the first piece was finished, and now, it has taken the world by storm with only minor changes in its design from the time it was first designed. The Barcelona chair is a masterpiece that is highly recognized by the designers and architects, regarded as one of the lucky connoisseurs for those who are able to purchase the original chair.

Connor Sullivan and his wife just purchased modern furniture for a new office facility he is renting. He and his wife decided on modern design furniture for their new home.
